Nov. 7, 2025 — Renton, WA — Renton Police Department confirmed that 77-year-old Cynthia Myers, reported missing after an inadvertent release from Overlake Hospital and subsequent Uber drop-off in Redmond, has been located safe.
Myers, described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 116 pounds, with gray/light brown hair and blue eyes, was last seen around 1:57 a.m. on Nov. 5 in the 17700 block of NE 78th Place near the Hampton Inn & Suites, where she did not check in.
She had left Overlake Hospital in Bellevue around 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 4 after being inadvertently released. She was wearing a pink/blue beanie, a light tan long-sleeve coat, dark gray sweatpants, black leather boots with fur trim, and carrying a burgundy cross-body purse.
Renton Police, leading the investigation under case number 25-9581 with assistance from Redmond Police, issued alerts, including a Silver Alert via Washington State Patrol. Myers frequents locations in downtown Renton, such as Fred Meyer and Starbucks, and may have cognitive issues requiring assistance.
