Jan. 6, 2026 — Redmond, Wash. — No confirmed bomb threat or lockdown at Redmond High School has been found in current searches as of early January 2026.
The school’s website and Lake Washington School District page report normal operations following winter break, with recent updates highlighting construction delays until 2027 and student achievements, but no mentions of security incidents.
Social media posts on X reference school threats elsewhere, such as in Minnesota and Rhode Island, but none pertain to Redmond High School in Washington.
Police in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, detained a 14-year-old girl accused of making a bomb threat at Tolman High School on Monday. The school went into lockdown while police, FBI, and K-9 units responded. The school was swept and the lockdown was later lifted. (WJAR)
