Tesla Vehicle Drives Wrong Way on SR 520 Exit Ramp, Crashes After Near-Miss Collision

Dec. 20, 2025 — Mountlake Terrace, Wash. A Tesla vehicle traveled the wrong way on an SR 520 exit ramp, narrowly missing an oncoming driver before crashing into a barrier, dashcam video shows.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:32 p.m., captured by a Vantrue E1 dashcam with GPS coordinates near 47.64317 N, 122.30974 W. Footage posted by @seattlesubmissions1 on Instagram and TikTok shows the silver Tesla SUV accelerating in the wrong direction on the curved exit ramp, forcing the dashcam vehicle to swerve to avoid a head-on collision. The Tesla then veers off the road and impacts a guardrail or barrier, coming to a rest.
