Jan. 12, 2026 — Redmond, Wash. The City of Redmond announced it is accepting applications for a new non-voting youth advisor position on its Planning Commission, aimed at high school students who live in or attend school in the city to provide input on Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code amendments.
The press release, titled “Redmond Seeks Planning Commission Youth Advisor,” details that the role involves attending meetings on the second and fourth Wednesdays from September to June. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on March 1, 2026, through the city’s online form center or the Planning Commission page.
A listing on the city’s board vacancies page indicates the position is for a partial term ending March 31, 2026.
