Redmond City Council Approves Transportation Plan Including New Pedestrian-Bicycle Bridge Over Bear Creek

July 5, 2023 — Redmond, WA The City of Redmond approved Resolution No. 1574, adopting the 2024-2029 Transportation Improvement Program that includes construction of a separate pedestrian-bicycle bridge over Bear Creek as part of NE 76th Street bridge modifications.

The resolution details improvements to the existing bridge by removing the sidewalk on the south side and adding a new dedicated pedestrian-bicycle bridge over Bear Creek.
