Redmond to See Mild Cloudy Winter Day Tuesday With Rain Expected Late at Night

January 27, 2026 – Redmond residents can expect a mild but mostly cloudy winter day on Tuesday, as typical late-January conditions continue across the area.

While the day will remain dry for most hours, changing weather patterns overnight are expected to bring rain by early Wednesday morning.

Sunrise is scheduled for 7:41 a.m., giving commuters a slightly earlier start to daylight compared to recent weeks.

Morning temperature will begin in the low 40s, wth skies remaining overcast through much of the day.

By the afternoon, temperatures are forecast to reach a high near 51 degrees Fahrenheit.

Winds during the daytime hours will be light, generally coming from the east-southeast at around 5 miles per hour.

Humidity levels during the day will hover near 67 percent. The UV index is expected to remain low at 1 out of 11, which is typical for winter conditions.

As evening approaches, temperatures will gradually drop, settling into the low 40s after sunset, which occurs at 5:02 p.m.

By late night and after midnight, rain is expected to develop across the Redmond area.

Overnight lows are forecast to reach around 42 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will pick up slightly during the night, blowing from the southeast at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

The chance of rain is estimated at around 70 percent, making wet roads likely for those traveling early Wednesday morning.

At night, humidity will increase to approximately 73 percent, adding to the damp conditions once ran begins.

While heavy rainfall is not expected, steady showers could create slick conditions and reduced visibility in some areas.

Astronomical conditions on Tuesday will feature a waxing gibbous moon, which will rise at 11:21 a.m. and set at 2:57 a.m.

While cloud cover may limit visibility of the moon, it remains a notable feature of the night sky during breaks in the clouds.
