Redmond Parks & Recreation Announces Kids Invite Someone Special Valentine’s Dance on Feb. 7

January 29, 2026 – Redmond, WA. Redmond Parks & Recreation is inviting families to celebrate Valentine’s season with a night of music, dancing, and meaningful connections at the annual Kids Invite Someone Special (KISS) Valentine’s Dance, set for Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Redmond Community Center at Marymoor Village.

The popular event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is designed for children ages 4 to 12, along with a special adult guest of their choice.

The guest can be a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or any adult who plays an important role in a child’s life.

Held at the Redmond Community Center at Marymoor Village, located at 6505 178th Avenue Northeast, the dance offers much more than just music.

Families can expect an evening filled with dancing, refreshments, themed crafts, and photo opportunities that capture the spirit of Valentine’s Day.

Semi-formal attire is encouraged, but not required. Organizers emphasize that the focus is on participation and enjoyment rather than dressing up.

The KISS Valentine’s Dance is coordinated by Redmond Parks & Recreation, with Jamie Ferreiro listed as the resource person for the event.

Pricing for the event ranges from $15 to $18 per person, with taxes waived. As of the most recent update, 47 of the 65 available spots remain open, making early registration strongly recommended.

Redmond Park & Recreation has also outlined a clear refund and transfer policy. Cancellations or transfer requests received at least seven days before the start date are eligible for a full refund, minus a 10 percent processing fee.

Requests made fewer than seven days in advance receive a 50 percent refund or a 50 percent credit toward a future program.

No refunds are issued for cancellations received less than three business days before the event, although exceptions may be made in cases of illness. Credit card processing fees are nonrefundable.

Those interested in registering or learning more can visit the official registration page or contact Guest Services at 425-556-2300 or guestservices@redmond.gov.
