Feb. 4, 2026 – Kirkland, Wash. Athletes from Etude Rhythmic Gymnastics delivered an outstanding performance at the Portland Cup, one of the region’s most competitive rhythmic gymnastics events, bringing home multiple top honors against some of the strongest clubs in Washington state.
The competition showcased the hard work and consistency of Etude’s gymnasts across several levels and age divisions, with podium finishes in all-around and individual apparatus events.
Mariia earned the title of Grand Champion in the FIG Junior category, a major achievement at the high-level meet. Fellow FIG Junior athlete Nika also had an impressive showing, finishing second overall in her age division all-around, while securing silver medals in ball, clubs, and ribbon.
In Level 6 competition, Adelina placed fourth overall out of 33 gymnasts and captured second place all-around in her age division. Teammate Avrora finished 12th overall out of 33, along with a third-place all-around finish in her age group.
Level 7 gymnast Eva continued the strong results, placing fifth overall out of 29 competitors and earning first place all-around in her age division.
At Level 8, Evelyn stood out with a second-place all-around finish in her age division, while winning gold medals in clubs and ribbon and a silver medal in ball.
The team credited much of their success to head coach Tatyana Kun, praising her dedication, leadership, and the passion she brings to developing each athlete.
Etude Rhythmic Gymnastics also extended thanks to the organizers of the Portland Cup for hosting a memorable and well-run competition, as the club continues to build momentum heading into future events.
