Legendary Philly Sound Comes to Seattle: The Stylistics Live at Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley

Feb. 5, 2026 – Seattle, Wash. Fans of classic R&B and soul music will have the opportunity to experience one of the most iconic vocal groups of the 1970s when The Stylistics perform live at Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley this week.

The Stylistics, known for their smooth Philadelphia soul sound and a string of hits including “You Are Everything,” “Betcha By Golly Wow,” and “Stop, Look, Listen to Your Heart,” take the stage at the downtown Seattle music club from Thursday, Feb. 5, through Sunday, Feb. 8.

Performances begin each night at 7:30 p.m., with a late show at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday and 5:30 p.m. on Friday through Sunday, according to the venue’s event calendar.

Formed in Philadelphia in 1966 through the merger of two local high school vocal groups, The Stylistics quickly rose to fame with their rich harmonies and romantic ballads.

Early success came with the single “You’re a Big Girl Now,” which gained regional attention and later national distribution under Avco Records.

Their first self-titled album produced several songs that would become classics of the soul genre and earn them Grammy nominations.

The current lineup performing at Jazz Alley includes original members Airrion Love and Herbert Murrell, along with supporting musicians on guitar, keyboards, bass, and drums.

Despite changes to the group over the years, Love and Murrell continue to celebrate the band’s legacy by touring across the United States and internationally.

Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley, a long-established Seattle venue known for showcasing jazz, blues, and soul performances, is hosting the multi-night run at 2033 6th Avenue, offering an intimate setting for audiences to enjoy the group’s timeless music.

Tickets are available through the venue and various event platforms for each performance. The shows are expected to draw fans of all ages who appreciate the soulful sound that helped define an era of American music.
