Redmond’s Fútbol for All Speaker Series Inspires Local Photography and Soccer Fans

Redmond, WA – Community members in Redmond recently had the chance to enhance their photography skills while celebrating the world’s most popular sport at the third session of the City’s Futbol for All Speaker Series.

The event, held in the Overlake neighborhood, featured Corky Trewin, an accomplished photographer with extensive experience covering professional sports.

Trewin is also known for his work with Sounders FC, his tenure as a photographer for the Seattle Seahawks, and his roots as a Redmond High School graduate.

Attendees were treated to a variety of Trewin’s work, including captivating shots from fan events, game-day action, and behind-the-scenes moments from Super Bowl LX, where the Seattle Seahawks claimed the championship.

Participants were able to learn firsthand the techniques and approaches Trewin uses to capture dynamic sports images, from composition and timing to lighting and storytelling.

The session provided both aspiring photographers and casual soccer enthusiasts an opportunity to gain practical knowledge while engaging wth one of the region’s most experienced sports photographers.

The Futbol for All Speaker Series is part of the City of Redmond’s broader initiative, Redmond is Ready for the World, which aims to prepare the community for the upcoming 2026 World Cup.
