Wesley B. Beamon, a dedicated public servant and politician, mourned the tragic loss of William. He wrote,

It is with a heavy heart that I share my deep sadness over the passing of a dear friend, Judge William Rambo.
Judge Rambo was more than a colleague in the law—he was a man of integrity, wisdom, and quiet strength. He was full of life, enjoyed life to the fullest, and brought warmth and authenticity into every room he entered. Even so, he always carried himself with the utmost professionalism on the bench, earning my respect through both his character and his commitment to justice.
I was blessed to call him a friend, to learn from him, and to witness firsthand his unwavering dedication to serving others and doing what was right. His loss leaves a void in my heart that cannot be filled, but his legacy will endure through the lives he touched and the example he set for all of us who serve.
My prayers are with his family, loved ones, and all who mourn him today.
Rest in peace, my friend. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Sara Sissy Bowen from Americus, Georgia wrote,

This is such sad news! Rambo was my across the street neighbor for several years in Americus, after he first moved to town. He did the closing on my place in the country. And I worked with him in the court system. He became a fair and just judge. But what I will most remember is the laughs that he gave me over those years! Rambo could make a serious story hilarious! And boy do I have some funny stories, that I won’t share here. We had lost touch in recent years. I had no idea he was ill. I am just shocked. My heart is full for his family and they are in my prayers. Rest well, old friend!

I am stunned. I worked with him professionally for years and worked with him personally. I used him in his capacity as a lawyer and played golf with him. A loss to the profession and to the community. Prayers for the family.
