Jan 27, 2026 – Redmond, Wash. CAIR-Washington is hosting a Community Rights and Policy Workshop this Saturday, Jan. 31, at MAPS Redmond, offering residents an opportunity to learn about civic rights, public policy, and community engagement.
According to a Facebook post from CAIR-WA, the workshop will take place from 12–7 p.m. at MAPS Redmond, located at 17550 NE 67th Court. The event is open to community members and will focus on issues that affect Muslims in Washington state.
The workshop will include a panel featuring career professionals and elected officials, providing attendees with information on civic participation, policy matters, and community advocacy.
Organizers stated that the event is designed to help participants better understand their rights and how policy decisions impact their daily lives.
CAIR-WA also noted that food will be provided during the event. The organization emphasized community involvement and encouraged attendees to take part in discussions focused on representation, rights, and public policy.
