IKEA to Open Small ‘Plan & Order’ Store at Redmond Town Center on Feb. 11

Feb. 11, 2026 – Redmond, Wash. IKEA is set to open a new small-format “Plan & Order Point with Pick-up” store at Redmond Town Center, offering customers planning services and order pickup without a traditional showroom.

According to IKEA and FOX 13 Seattle, the new location will focus on one-on-one planning appointments with IKEA specialists.

Customers will be able to get help designing kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and small-space living solutions. Items will not be available for same-day carryout, but orders can be delivered to homes or picked up onsite once ready.

The Redmond store is part of IKEA’s broader strategy to expand smaller planning and pickup centers across the United States, aimed at improving accessibility and convenience for customers who may not live near a full-size store.

Unlike IKEA’s Renton location, the Redmond site will not include a furniture showroom, marketplace, or food offerings such as the company’s restaurant or Swedish meatballs.

The store is designed primarily as a service and fulfillment point rather than a traditional retail experience.

The new IKEA Plan & Order Point with Pick-up will be located at 7325 166th Avenue Northeast in Redmond. The Renton store at 601 Southwest 41st Street remains the only full-size IKEA location in western Washington.
