Multiple Concerts Canceled in Marymoor’s 2025 Summer Series Amid Artist Withdrawals

Summer 2025 — Redmond, Wash. Several concerts at Marymoor Live in King County’s Marymoor Park were canceled by artists, disrupting the venue’s summer series and prompting refunds for ticket holders.

The cancellations included high-profile shows such as Big Head Todd & the Monsters with Bill Murray & His Blood Brothers on Aug. 22, the Forever Young Tour featuring O-Town and Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray on Aug. 23, and Smokey Robinson on Sept. 13.

According to a Friends of Marymoor Park meeting summary from Aug. 26, promoters Cascade Music Collective and Seattle Event Solutions confirmed additional cancellations:

August 30 and September 12 concerts have been cancelled by the artists, but there are still about 5 concerts to come.

An earlier July 22 meeting summary noted another August concert that was announced and quickly canceled.

Ticket holders affected by the cancellations are eligible for refunds processed through Ticketmaster, as stated in the venue’s FAQ and ticket information page:

Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of a concert cancellation and will be conducted through Ticketmaster directly.

The 2025 summer series, promoted at the outdoor venue in Redmond just north of Lake Sammamish, featured a diverse lineup announced in May.

Despite the cancellations, other shows proceeded, and the series continues into 2026 with events like The Dead South on June 12 listed on Live Nation.

King County Parks manages the park, with concert parking at $20 per vehicle. Local discussions on platforms like Reddit and Facebook highlighted fan disappointment, including complaints about ticket costs.
