Redmond Senior & Community Center Welcomes New Season of Amazing Athletes & TGA Programs

Recently, the City of Redmond – Parks & Recreation Facebook page made an announcement regarding the return of their popular children’s program at Redmond Senior & Community Center.

According to the post, the program will start from the week of January 26.

This new season will bring fresh opportunities for kids to move, play, and develop important skills through fun and active classes.

Children’s Program Returns at City of Redmond – Parks & Recreation

These programs are created for children of different ages and skill levels.

For younger children ages 3 to 5, the center offers Multi-Sports with Amazing Athletes on Mondays from 4:30 to 5:15 PM.

This program introduces kids to different sports while helping them build basic movement skills, coordination, and confidence.

Children in the same age group can also join Karate Zoo on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 4:45 PM.

This class teaches the basics of karate in a fun, safe, and supportive setting.

For older children ages 6 to 9, the programs focus more on fitness and skill development.

Physical Education Sports with Amazing Athletes is held on Tuesdays from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.

In this class, children explore different sports while building teamwork skills, learning fair play, and developing healthy routines.

Similarly, TGA Golf & Tennis, held on Wednesdays from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, gives young athletes the opportunity to learn the basics of golf and tennis with guidance from experienced instructors.

These weekly programs help kids stay active, make new friends, and build confidence through regular physical activity.

Parents can register their children online to secure a spot for the upcoming season via the link.

The Redmond Senior & Community Center continues to offer a friendly and supportive space where children can stay active, learn new skills, and enjoy themselves while building healthy habits.
