Redmond Wrestling Academy Hosts UNLV Women’s Coach and 14-Time World Medalist Kevin Pine for Special Training Night

Feb. 20, 2026 – Redmond, WA – Redmond Wrestling Academy will host a special training event at Redmond High School featuring Kevin Pine, the women’s wrestling coach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, according to a post shared by Ion Cazac.

The event is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 20, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session from 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The session is open to all wrestlers, with a suggested donation of $10.

Kevin Pin is a 14-time world medalist who will lead training and provide instruction during the evening.

Organizers said participants will have the opportunity to train directly with Pine, learn about collegiate wrestling scholarships, and receive mentorship ahead of the upcoming state tournament.

The training night will take place at Redmond High School and is open to wrestlers from the broader community, not limited to academy members.

Details about the event were shared by Ion Cazac on social media, noting that the session is intended to support athlete development and provide access to high-level coaching experience.
