Redmond City Partners with Bloodworks Northwest for Heart Month Blood Drive

February is recognized nationwide as American Heart Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about cardiovascular health and promoting actions that support heart wellness.

In honor of this observance, the City of Redmond is teaming up with Bloodworks Northwest to host a community blood drive.

The event will take place on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Redmond City Hall parking lot, located at 15670 NE 85th Street.

As per recent statistics, one in seven hospital patients will require a blood transfusion at some point in their care.

By participating in this blood drive, Redmond residents have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of individuals in need, while also honoring the spirit of Heart Month.

On the day of the drive, donors are encouraged to locate the Bloodmobile in the City Hall parking lot and arrive prepared with a photo ID.

Bloodworks Northwest has outlined a simple process to ensure donations are safe, efficient, and comfortable for participants.

Prospective donors are also encouraged to schedule an appointment ahead of time to streamline the experience and minimize wait times.

Appointments can be booked through the City of Redmond’s dedicated blood drive webpage at redmond.gov/February2026BloodDrive.

The partnership between the City of Redmond and Bloodworks Northwest underscores the importance of community collaboration in promoting health and wellness.

As Heart Month continues, Redmond residents are encouraged to participate in the blood drive and engage in the City’s heart health initiatives.
